Research 'making sense of diagnosis'

Hi

I hope this is ok to post this and this is the right place.

I am a second year counselling psychology trainee at the University of the West of England.

I am currently undertaking a research project which is looking at how people who have been given a psychiatric diagnosis make sense of their diagnosis and what it means to them. The study has been given ethical approval by the university.

I am looking for 10-30 participants who have been given a psychiatric diagnosis more than two years ago to complete a short online survey (6 questions).

It’s completely anonymous. At the end of I will collate all of the data and write a report which I hope may even get published. The reason I'm doing the research is because I feel service users views and experiences are under-represented in research. As a developing counsellor I hope it will enable me to develop awareness, insight and greater empathy.

If you wish to take part the link below will take you to the survey.

Thanks
