The last film I watched was Megamind. It didn't blow me away but I did find it a really enjoyable film (as I usually do with 3D animated films) so I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

The Nightmare Before Christmas. I give it a 9.5/10. It has a great story, great songs (even though I'm not fond of musicals) and I find stop motion films amazing with so much work put into it. On top of that Tim Burton is amazing.

I agree with all of this

Gone Girl 5/10
I enjoyed the first half of it a lot, all though I was annoyed by several things.
But during the other half it just got worse and worse and worse.

I just finished the series Masters of Sex on Showtime (Not a movie)

I'd recommend it to anyone with an interest in history and sex lol

It was pretty good, entertaining and such :) Not sure if they will have another season or not. I think it was 3 seasons.

Not a movie, but I just finished the anime series Your Lie in April. I absolutely loved it, I even needed a tissue to wipe the tears away at the end. It has a lot of classical music in it too (the story focuses on two musicians), which I really enjoyed.

Chappie - 5.6

Oh man, I really thought I was going to love this movie. But I ended up having really mixed feelings about it. I adore the concept of loving and compassionate A.I. characters.

And that part we get in spades. The way he developed felt more than acceptable and I really liked the design of the machines. I quite liked Chappie as a character, and Dion too for that matter. Who is the creator of the police Drones and the A.I. that becomes Chappie. If the movie was that, it would've been great.

But the movie wasn't that. It had a bunch of other characters and plot points that I couldn't stand. The fore mentioned other characters are criminals who are in some serious debt. The movie tries real hard to make you care for these criminals, but it completely falls flat.

The characters go from pulling a heist- while they coerce Chappie into throwing shurikens into cops under the fallacy that it makes them sleep, to becoming noble hero types. Needless to say, when the inevitable last stand came, I was rooting for the antagonist more than anyone. Who is himself quite a misguided piece of work.

And that's where my biggest grievance lies. The movie is an awkward story about the criminals turning Chappie into a gangster and pulling a heist, not about the implications his very creation has. It was a bizarre take on the story that I can't really appreciate.

Meadowland. 6/10 or maybe 7/10.
Pretty good.

Ricki and the Flash. 1/10
Meryl Streep, I never ever thought you'd be in such a crappy movie.

Terminator Genisys 1/10

^ Took everything for T1 and T2: Judgement Day and made it shite. The bit T-800 fights the CGI version of the T-800 for the first movie wasn't worth a wank. A total letdown... Much like the movie, overall.

Also, the plot made no feckin' sense, especially if you try to piece it together with the other films in the Terminator franchise.

Jurassic World 1/10

Utter crap... Wasn't as intense as the first one. I thought CGI looked shite. Story was so boring I nearly feel a sleep 30 minutes in.

Other than Chris Pratt's character, Owen, and Jake Johnson, who played Lowery, I didn't care what happened to any other characters. The kids this time around, unlike the first movie, were annoying as f***. The death scenes were unintentionally comical to me.

Jurassic Park 3 is more entertaining.

So, I've recently seen 2 really crap movies in well-known franchises. I hope Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn't turn out the same way. I don't what's more sad, the fact my expections for Star Wars are pretty high, or the fact I recently 4 hrs and 10 mins of my life?
