Question for the parents whose kids are bullied

Have you documented the instances in a written manner? For example, instead of verbally telling the teacher/principal, have you written letters and made copies of them for yourself?

I am asking because couldn't these items be used just in case you need to bring a lawsuit against the school. For those that are physically abused, photos and police reports would be additional documentation.

If the school is non-responsive, lawsuit maybe the only way.

How bout a lawsuit against the parent of the bully?

I think that keeping a written account of the bullying is helpful, but depending on the type of bullying and the age of the bully, criminal charges will not be pressed (at least in the USA).
