Im 20 now, i feel like the last 10 years hav gone by so fast!
Does this continue thru the 20s and 30s? I really am starting to feel time is running out to get this anxiety sorted!!!!

1) Does time keep flying? I'd say yes. I can't believe I graduated from college 10 years ago.

2) Are you running out of time? I'd say no. I mean as fast as the last 10 years have seemed to fly by, so much has really happened when I stop to think about it. So many opportunities have come and gone over the years. Some have gone well, others have slipped past.

I guess what I am saying is that no matter how fast time "feels" you are always growing and learning and developing as a person. You can't call that a waste. Even if you have learned what hasn't helped you, you have learned something.

Scat,
Yes, the same feeling continues (I am 27 now) and I think it will keep continuing in the future. But I think solving SA doesn't need to take a long time (this is a theory of mine). I ordered 3 books on meeting people, how to conduct small talk, etc, and I made an appointment with a doc for next week. I think 3 months from now I will be a lot better than I am now.

I urge you to work out your SA as soon as you can. You will thank yourself later. Trust me!!

Time seems to run faster as you get older. I think its because older people often get settled & do the same things week in week out...
but I agree with falcon...your life could change quite quickly if you actively try different things.

thanks you guys for the responses.

For the last few years I have been working on my SA thru books and a sessions with a CBT doctor. I have achieved great things and am happier than ever, but Im never gonna be 100% satisfied till I can do anything I want without worrying about panic attacks!
