Joke or not, there are people who really do believe this.

Just watched a documentry called Hell House. Christians constructing a horror spook house with the object of scaring them to Jesus, by showing skits of people going and being punished in hell. Some of the stuff they show is pretty graphic.

Thats perfectly understandable. When you let priests rape them, that seems to scare them away. So, naturally, you have to scare them back.
