Promising Future Identification

In an effort to help keep hope for a cure to the heavy generalized sweaters like myself that can't cover themselves in various antiperspirants and meds haven't overly helped, I thought I should post this TED talk I recently watched. As mentioned, the cost of doing a full-blown genomic sequencing is decreasing exponentially because of advances in technology. Hopefully we will soon be able to pinpoint what specifically is causing our bodies to over-react to stimuli (heat, movement, stress, etc) and begin targeting that. Based on everything I've read about ETS, I haven't had the guts to give it a try and am holding out for a less risky fix.

Additionally, there is a site called curetogether.com which looks like a promising idea. Not much of a user base for hyperhidrosis yet, but I like the format and hope to see it grow.

Cheers
