The internets leave me feeling kind of empty and sad, always looking for more and never being satisfied. I may need to go on that internet hiatus sooner than planned...
Exploring derelict buildings is officially my new hobby.
Not one I'd feel overly comfortable with announcing in real life though
It's so interesting though. The nearest I think you can get to going back in time - going around buildings that haven't been touched in decades... just been left to rot with all the old furnishings left inside. Can get some great photos too - plants growing out of toilets etc.

Imagine if they were a bunch of 40 year olds instead. Frightening isn't it? Those are the people I have to work with everyday.I went to the cafeteria a while back. There was a group of guys and girls, I assume my age, it was a BIG group. I swear I've never seen anyone so loud, immature, obnoxious and completely disrespectful of others in my entire existance.
I understand they want to hang out and have fun, but did they really need to SCREAM at each other instead of just talking? I am not even saying they were talking loud, they were nearly screaming everytime they chatted or laughed. Not kidding. And their conversation topic consisted of swearings, bad jokes, random sexual comments, laughing as loud as possible for no reason at all and hitting the tables (yes, really)
I was going to leave earlier, but thankfully, they left first, so I could stay a little longer and enjoy my coffee. However, my hedache didn't go away. Loud noise usually makes it worse.
Yes, I'm intolerant, sue me.

I hate cafeterias. I went to a community college, and it was just as you describe. I'm going to a university this fall, and I think it will be a little better, but I still dread them. I hate eating alone. Just hope I can find one friend to sit with so I won't look like a loser. But who knows if that will happen.
