Is it wrong to tell a guy u love them, when its only in a friendly way? I wrote on my best guy friend's bday card "Luv u lots" and he seemed surprised by it and told me he froze a bit when he saw that, so I explained to him when we were messaging "I tell that to ppl i really care about. Of course i luv u, ure my best friend." He didnt know what to say after that..
I dunno, maybe i shouldnt have said it..i dont want him to think i meant it in a romantic way. Was i too forward? why are guys so scared by that word?
I know he wants to be with me but i already told him countless time i dont want that because it doesnt feel right.

I posted mine several times, the real question is: where is yours? :D
^ Several times in one day, a day in which I wasn't around? You did that on purpose didn't you? ::p: Exciting things happen when I'm gone! D:

And my picture is nonexistent. For the time being. :D

This might sound silly, but I think the spelling matters. Telling someone "I luv you" seems to me to be quite different than telling them "I love you". The first way doesn't really carry any romantic connotations. It's something you'd say to a friend, even one of the same sex. The second is something you'd only say if meant seriously. If your friend has romantic feelings towards you, then maybe he was reading too much into what you said due to wishful thinking?

Well we guys dont usually tell each other we love each other. You gotta learn the fine art of Bromance.

I had a female friend do the exact same thing a few weeks ago and it kinda threw me off. If he has romantic feelings for you, you might want to choose your words carefully.

Yea but im not a guy so...its different.
I dont know how close u are with that female friend of yours, but me and this guy are very close and best friends, i didnt think it was such a big deal when i wrote that, but now that i think about it...damn it. I wish i shouldnt have said it.

I'm with Mr. Broam...

writing "Luv u lots" in a birthday card is NOT the same as whispering "I Love You" in someone's ear

i don't think you did anything 'wrong'

Its not silly at all, i chose what i spelled very carefully. Its different when someone says "luv u lots" than when they say "I love u." He said it to me too, but face to face, when we parted today "love u too" or u smth like that..didnt think much of it. But when we were texting again and he mentioned to me that he froze a bit when he saw i wrote that, i felt the need to tell him well yea ure my best friend of course i luv u. I tried to lighten things up and said smth like "dont get spooked up now jeez."
Now i regret it all. Why do i have to fvcking screw up everything and say dumb sh!t? jesus. *shakes head*

Just realised that I have a a strange nervous tick when I'm talking in public. I always add a qualifier before I say something that makes me sound like I don't know what I'm talking about. It's always "I think the *insert shop* is down that way" or if someone asks how I am "I'm pretty good, I guess."

Stupid brain. At least I've realised now that I do it all the time, which is half the way to stop doing it. Anyone else do this constantly?

I used to nod my head and flick my head as if my hair were in my eyes. It drove my family mad, but I just grew out of doing it and developed another one.

I'm feeling a little depressed and a little anxious. I'm going out tonight to Sydney tonight to a buck's party, then out to some nightclubs/stripclubs/bars/whatever. I'll be the only sober one and I don't want to be approached by anyone. I don't think I'm going to enjoy this.

Guys are dumb.
Not all guys are dumb. Why do you say that?

Magnets, how do they work? Miracles!

Black magic, obviously. Tiny wizards inside them. Who's mere existence revolves around making us confused.

..I did actually knew once. They explained it on TV. But for the love of me I can't remember what it was. Something on a molecular level that made me feel stupid about how I thought they worked before I understood.

Yet, I do still remember our landline phone number we had 7 years ago flawlessly. >:[
