Post your picture thread

a lot of good looking people with social anxiety. Would think people with sa would be opposed to posting their pictures.

I post pictures as a way of pushing myself to do things that give me anxiety. Before posting that picture, my heart was racing and my palms were all sweaty, but I forced myself to do it anyway. Now I'm only a little nervous about it. I don't want this to consume more of my life than it already has - I want to get better.

Good job, you remind me of Morgan Webb.

i cant relate to that but thats good for you .You are decent looking.

I hate seeing pictures of myself and i cringe at the thought of posting my picture online. I'm secure with my body but my face is detestable to me. I understand everyone struggles with sa in different ways.

What do you think of the face you see in the mirror? I personally like my face in the mirror but think it looks horrible in pictures. The problem is that we see this reflected face very often but we rarely see our actual face, so when you see your actual face everything seems out of place.

I am the same way. It is a practice of confidence and learning self esteem to post photos here of myself.

Hmm...why do you say? I was thinking maybe more like Mel Gibson...one can only speculate at this stage.

I picture him more like Bill Hicks... was that his avatar once? Or maybe that's another user.

Hi fountain btw, sorry for talking about you like you're not there :p

it looks a little better then in pictures, but i hate my face whether in pictures or in the mirror. is being photogenic real or is it the scenario that you are explaining?
