Please Rate Botox Injection Pain

I just joined this forum, so I apologize if this has been addressed a great deal already. I did do some searching on this topic and didn't find much, but I could have missed some posts/threads.

My teenage daughter has terrible palm sweating. She has seen a dermatologist and is currently taking glycopyrrolate pills. They work a bit, but with summer coming (and puberty) I think her hands are getting worse. She has tried drionic and several antiperspirants, but none of these things have worked very well. Our dermatologist has worked with us and our insurance so that she could get Botox shots for a minimal out of pocket cost, but she is very afraid of the pain involved. (I don't blame her.) Could people who have actually gotten shots please describe the pain levels and what kind of pain blocker was used? If you could explain the pain level on a scale of 1- to 10 with 10 being the worst pain, it would be helpful. We are a family that believes in getting as much information as possible about things, so she would put a lot of stock in people's experience with this procedure. Thanks.

with ice as the only pain blocker inside the palm was about 4 out of 10. I don't know about the fingertips, sorry.

it depends on the individual. I can take great pain, so to me it was a 2/10, but I can see how it can be a 10/10 for others. I even took it without any kind of anesthetics. Let the Dr use some local anesthetic for her hands and when he starts don't let him give her breaks just let him do the process quickly and efficiently. That way he'll be done in around 5-10 mins and then it's over. If she gets dry hands, she'll forget about the pain the first day and do repeats wholeheartedly.
