No, there is no harm in trying. If you eat food then your already getting GABA and niacin. Picamilon just has them chemically bonded. I will give you a list of some herbs and supps that work for me and for many other people.
Phenibut-Can only be used on occasion, tolerance builds very fast with this stuff. 1-2 grams once a week is the most I do. Makes you very calm in stressful situations.
Bacopa-Calms you down. I find it to be a mild anti-anxiety effect. It helps better with cognition skills.
theanine-Really good stuff. Relaxes you around people.
alcohol-Sucks for SA, makes it much worse.
caffeine-makes me talk more, makes some peoples SA worse due to increased anxiety.
rhodiola-Ive never had a bad day on this stuff. Its not meant for SA but its an adaptogen and relieves all my stress. I dont get as nervous in social situations. Many people love this stuff.
ashwagandha-helps my SA a lot. Feels sorta like a Benzo. Its sorta like Picamilon also except its more of a relaxer. Some people get tired from this stuff. I just get relaxed, not tired.
guarana-I like caffeine more. This is basically just a time-released herb form of caffeine. Its from Brazil. Makes me chatty.
Cocoa extract-Its a stimulant but it chills me out real good(it has anti-anxiety properties as well as stim properties). The first time I took this stuff, it was an hour before work and I got so relaxed that I didnt even care if I got to work on time. I was about 20 mins late to work the first time I took this stuff. I was more patient and it helped my SA.
green tea-helps SA but need about 3 cups of it. It has small amounts of theanine and caffeine in it.
