Phone calls excuses

I wonder if anyone has any exposure techniques for making phone calls? I can't think of any excuses for calls I could make just for the sake of practise.

You can call family and friends just to say hello, call for pizza delivery, call a chinese restaurant to place a pick-up order, call to find out a store's hours, call a random number and ask for louis, call the library to see if they have a book, call a massage parlor to make an appointment.
