pen pal listing?

Hi,

I'm really new to this site, and this is my first post. I have not visited any sites on social phobia in recent years. However in the period 2001-2003 I used to frequent the about.com page on social anxiety often. A great feature they used to have was a pen pal listing. They basically had a list where you could put a short description of yourself and the problems you were dealing with, and then people interested in correspondence could react and start exchanging emails. However, since a few years they don't have that list anymore. Before I used to write to about 3 persons regularly, for a couple of years, and these correspondences really helped a lot to cope with social anxiety issues and meant a lot to me. Now a few years later I still mail to some other people, but not very frequently unfortunately.

My question is whether this site has such a listing, since I have not been able to find it yet.

For the time being the site still has enough other features to keep me occupied . Thanks in advance and have a nice Christmas.

You can send Private Messages (PM) to other members - just like sending a letter, only better, because you don't have to use a stamp, and it gets there really quick.

Just click on their name, and a drop-down meu will appear

select "send private message"
