i feel for you ive been in a similar situation all i can say is it may seem tough but you will be better for it. this could be the challenge that gets rid of your sa

if your having trouble dealing with the anxiety you should see your doc if you havnt already and try get some anti anxiety meds i know you dont want to hear it but telling your teacher about sa is probably the best thing you could do

but as for excuses a death of a relative always works, coz they dont want to ask any questions even if they are suspicious

yea i know it seems like its 1 step forward 10 back but my shrink says it will get much worse before it gets better the sa knows you are trying to get rid of it so it is doing tis best to make yor feelings of anxiety and nerves worse so every time you try and challenge yourself it will do itsupmost to make it

ok well daily meds mightnt be what youare after but maybe a low dosage of xanax to lessen the anxiety would help just to get you through this assignment and hopefully then that will give you enough onfidence for th next time

It's a school not a freaking disco. Stop caring about how you look or sound, remind yourself what your motivation is, buckle down and focus on your work instead of social whatever. You are already committed now. The professor chewed you out for being unprepared, not social phobia. Nobody cares about it but you.

krs2snow, you have to leave your comfort zone and try really hard to attend all the classes. Like de said it will be better for you in the long run, try not to worry about the classes that much, worrying won't achieve anything besides stress and additional anxiety.

You don't need drugs, just focus. You have a goal, focus on that goal and achieve it! I know you can! You're obviously very ambitious and I'm sure you'll do great if you really try.
