Nardil

Has anyone tried the drug Nardil for Social Phobia. I've personally found it to be, by far, the most effective medication for this disorder. I would recommend it to anyone, although I have heard there are some problems with the "new" formulated pills. Has anyone had similiar experiences with this drug?

I heard that opinion that old Nardil is the most efficient drug to combat SA. Never tried it anyway. None of the doctor wanted to prescribe me that stuff due to diet restriction ( not complying with guidelines could result in death) and toxicity. Nardil belongs to the most powerful and oldest group of antidepressant called MAOi- used as a last resort in patients which do not respond to SSRi and Tricyclic med. Extra Yes and thats true that they changed formula of that medication so much that now it is seems to be even a bigger gamble to try it. I know about people who suffered a lot due to "Improved" formula of that poison.

The diet isn't really that bad. Unless you do hundreds of dollars of cocaine, all you will receive is a headache is you cheat the diet. I started Nardil again about 10 days ago. I accidentally ate half a pizza, and thought briefly "gee...I wonder why I have a headache." before realizing that I couldn't eat cheese again. It wasn't that bad, and I sure consumed a lot of cheese.

but tell me mate: have you got any severe side effects so far?Does this medication interfere with you sleepling pattern? and we are talking about "new" Nardil,to make sure, right? What progress have you made since you been on the drug?. cheers
