Hello!
I have recently been perscribed Nardil, and from previous research I knew it had quite a lot of foods you cann't eat.. certain types of cheese and meat etc.. however the worst part was the bits of the leavets from the psychiatrist and pharmacist saying "2 beers max" and stuff like that.
Now i am in my early twenties and part of being young is being able to go out boozing with your friends.. Has anybody here had any experience with Nardil, can u take say 6, 8 or 10 beers over a period of time in one day? Or do you get thyramine (or however u spell it) overdose and skyrocketing blood pressure which can lead to a stroke? I enjoy drinking and 2,3,4 beers a day max seems rather inhibiting when I'm in a club or bar late and night and everybody else is drunk..
I'm starting off on 30mg off nardil but I read that effective dosage is anywhere between 60-90mg a day. The psychiatrist also doesn't really want me having more than 4 beers a day because I am coming off methamphetamine abuse, venlafaxine and he things my brain chemistry is too fragile
Any advice or comments greatly appreciated thanks!
