I've done research on the net and quite a lot of the time I come across high praise for Nardil. Such as "Nardil usually works great for SP! It the "Gold Standard" antidepressant for SP". Some people seem to have no response to the drug or it makes their anxiety worse but a lot of people swear it's the best they have ever tried. I know nardil is an old drug with side effects meaning you can't eat blue cheese, red wine, and excess coffee but a lot of the forums i read people said that these side effects are minor compared to the great relief they have experience with their anxiety.
"Nardil is excellent for many other anxiety and depressive disorders also. Reports of Nardil side effects are frequently exaggerated, particularly since Nardil's side effects typically take 2-4 months to diminish or disappear. After several months Nardil tends to cause less side effects than SRI's across comparable dose ranges, with the exception of Prozac"
Any experiences or opinions would be greatly appreciated
