My First Ticket

Well I was driving home tonight and a cop out of no where pulls me over for speeding and (apparently) running a stop sign. I actually wasn't as nervous as I thought I'd be. Took forever to get it over with and all I got was $75 fine. Would have been more but he reduced it, I think they always do that. All I thought about though the whole time was I read somewhere on here a few people were pulled over for DUI. That must have been hell for sure, no offense to anyone of course.

Just thought I'd share something that happened to me that normally would make me anxious as hell.

I've been pulled over by the police at least five times in my life. With only one speeding ticket. The strange thing is that I also wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be in that kind of situation. It all happens too quickly for me to think about it too much. I hate when my driver's license gets stuck in the plastic and I can't get it out. Then my hands may start to tremble a little. And the cop may think I'm hiding something because of my nervousness.

That's good that you dealt with it well, because cops can really make things hard for you if they want to or suspect anything. I think I'd panic.
