Being given my own dog.

This was my first form of therapy that worked. Having responsibility for something that was far less able than myself. Okay so it was forced which was scary, but I couldn't let my poor Pooch go without her walks, even if they were 10 minutes. Whenever I started to get anxious, Pooch would pull me back towards home before I even knew. I guess dogs really can tune into our emotions.

After six months of not leaving my room this little darling helped me leave the house for a whole 15 minutes.
