Today was cool (apart from the fact a certain two people couldn't feckin' make it)!I didn't just sit there in silence chewing my arm off tryin to think of conversation topics like i was expecting. Twas myself and Badbuz for most of it, Kayelle got there and couldn't stay long. Pity, cos they're both dead sound people!
Thinking of having another one, possibly around the Limerick area (easier for you Johnny). If its definitely goin' ahead ye'll know about it!
oh and in other news...

ok i'm man enough to admit now that i did chicken out:
:serious don't have the flu basically my sa got the better of me i was all set to go last night but i was worrying about it alot and couldn't sleep(yea i'm that bad) and i couldn't go in the morning but now that i heard about it sounded like it wasn't too bad even with small numbers, i wish i had gotten the courage to go. I'll definatly be at the next one no matter what hold me to that::

i totaly get ya i was thinking maybe not goin aswel cus of nerves there really hard to overcome but glad i did go.at least you know now that it might not be so bad if you go the next 1 and hope a few of us do maybe make sum friends

Thats ok david! I mean we all have anxiety so we know what it's like, so I'd never judge anyone for not being able to do something because of it, seeing as I've done the same thing hundreds of times myself
I hope you don't get down on yourself because of it or anything. Anyways, I concur that saturday was brilliant, except for me turning up really late! I could only stay about an hour, all the changing of times during the day it was on led to me not being able to get a lift in til late and I would have been too anxious to walk in from home or anything. But it was so cool there, we all got on really well straight away and it was fun!
Another one soon! Limerick this time mayhaps? Then more people could come! Though it would be a major challenge for me to get down to Limerick, but sure you'll have that! I LIVE FOR CHALLENGE, RARRRRR :

Limericks fine - nothin' wrong with it. Ive never known anyone to have trouble like that here - its only between certain families. Actually think its an alright place when you've SA 'cause people can be lovely!
But if i haven't convinced you we can relocate. I'm not pushed anyway - just want it to be easy for all of us!

I dunno, I guess so! I dunno about the others but I was expecting it to be really awkward and that we'd all be really shy and stuff...Well I was pretty sure I'd be really shy and quiet anyways
So I guess there wasn't any pressure to be chatty and hyper and funny, so that made it much easier just to relax into a conversation. I'd be totally lost in Limerick too, never been there either!

Is Cork easier to get to than Limerick by any chance?
I remember mikeoz wanted to have a Cork meetup? Or is that waaaaaaaaaaaaay outta the way for most people.
For me it'll be two hours on a bus, i dont know about the rest of ye cause ive no knowledge of geography!

its a 3-4 hour bus journey for me and i would have to get a bus in gort i think and thats an hour away from me so that would a bit outta the way. maybe we could arrange a place that would be nearer to cork.

Sure if its arranged in Limerick i could meet ye at the station since I'm not living far from there - probably a 15 minute walk actually.
I'd pretty much go anywhere though as long as there's buses home!

Yup, we had the meet up! Well first we had to go find the leprauchans of course, and once we had their gold we were all able to go and buy entirely green outfits. Then we had to go to the farm to take care of the cattle, we couldn't neglect our farming duties. Next we had a fine feed of rashers and sausages. Then at last we were free to go to the pub, drink 20 pints of guinness, puke, and pass out! Yay ireland!
Anyways! :
: We really did have the meet-up. There was supposed to be five people there and three people were able to make it on the day, and we just went to the university in galway and met up there, and just sat around and chatted! Though I was really late so I was only there about an hour :: But it was really good!
