MAOI's for social anxiety

Has anyone ever been on manerix? My doctor prescribed me it. Its apparently not like the other MAOI's he said. This one doesn't have whatever bad side effects which I forget what he said they were.

Anyways what were your experiences on this medication? Did it help with anxiety and energy?

I tried Moclobemide in 1994-96. At that time, the TGA has not approved it for the use of Social Anxiety Disorder. It's only for Depression.

I tried from low dose, and slowly increasing up to its maximum recommended dosage 600mg /day.

Well, For the first 3 months, I felt good.

But after that, it seems it just didn't work as well as before.

So my Doc switched it to other AD.

After a year of that new AD, then I was back to Moclobemide, and it worked again.
