Research has shown that folks experiencing these symptoms as a result of a magnesium deficiency and who then begin to supplement and take magnesium for anxiety, may experience some dramatic results.

Recently, a clinical trial was conducted in France using the double-blind, randomized, placebo method. 264 folks with generalized anxiety were involved with the study. Half were given a placebo and half were given an herbal treatment which contained 300mg of magnesium.

At the end of the study, the folks in the group that had taken magnesium for anxiety and magnesium for depression experienced a "statistically significant" reduction in anxiety and depression as measured with the Hamilton anxiety scale

HI (THIS IS SAVAGE_BEAGLE)..... i found many many online health sites talking about the benefits of magnesium for anxiety and depression. BUT DONT ask me a billion questions on how much/where to buy/take for how long.....i'm no freaking doctor....but i'd rather take herbal supplements-vitamins &minerals then some prescribed bullshit drug that might make my cock fall off and roll down the street. You know your own body and mind best and whatever you take and how it effects you. So i suggest if you wish, go online and type in...''MAGNESIUM HEALTH BENEFITS"--''MAGNESIUM''---''MAGNESIUM''...etc , and ask your doctor what he/she thinks. I personaly take mag. supplements and i do notice i feel more calmer then when i dont. PLUS, i take a few doses of a multi-B. vitamin and a trainload of various vitamins/herb/mineral..and fish oil capsules (big help in fighting depression) . works for me...look into..i wanna know if anybody nptices any results...good luck to all you good people here.
