lucid dreams

OH yes, a clear dream. They seem to come and go for me. I've always remembered my dreams since as long as I can remember. Once in a while they are abnormally clear, and I wake up feeling happy.
Sometimes I remember them in such detail that when I tell somebody about them, they stop me to make sure that I'm talking about my dream. They're beautiful because it's like being somewhere that you're not. Like a little exit from waking world.
Also you should look up astral projection. This is a bit like making your soul separate from your body and wandering around in your spirit body. (Or you can call it dreaming on purpose)
This was fun for me. Took a few tries before I actually did it. Saw some interesting things, (and some scary things). I only did it once though. I figure nightly dreaming is all I need.
I told my friend Josh how to do it and he got so scared that he never did it again. lol

Hi, Yes, occassionally.

I have the best sucess if I get up - and then go back to bed and sleep for an extra long time. (you dream more when you've had a lot of sleep)

Maybe you should try and get yourself a novadreamer if you're interested in this - they are good though expensive. It's a mask which flashes a light (which is visible through your sleeping eyelids). The light acts as a cue, and manifests in your dream. I think the last time I did this I saw a broken street lamp flickering, another time it was an orange sun behind a tree blowing in the breeze (making it look like the flashing light).

The biggest problems I find are:

1. Getting excited and waking up.

2. Staying lucid - I usually let the dream take over - you have to really will what you want to dream about. Before going to sleep you can be sure what you want to dream about, but when you brain's giving you something to dream about it's hard not to get absorbed in it, and recall the thing you what to dream about.

astral projection aka lucid dreaming on purpose, i think , you basically just try to fall asleep really really fast while concentrating on getting into the dream state. It's a way of meditating, I suppose. You do this pretty much by just lying extra extra still , not submitting to your impulses to shift around. When you start getting really relaxed, your body goes numb all over, and then you start to want to fall asleep. But you want to keep a trace intention of watching the pictures in your head.

This usually works best if you've been doing things all day and you actually want to relax. I personally can't relax very well if I've just sat on my lazy ass relaxing all day in the first place. You may need several tries in order to get it. And then you'll give up from having tried so much. But when you try again, you just might get it.

It's really a lot like watching your own mind pass from one state of consciousness to the other. It's like crossing a bridge or something. Just like when you fall asleep on your nightly basis: One minute your focusing on trying to get to sleep, and the next moment you realize that you're in a dream.

Anyway, I called my experience an astral projection because first of all, I tried to "astral project," and after I started dreaming, it was a lot more lucid then lucid usually is. You might see your own room, or see your own self lying in bed.

When my roommate tried it, he said he saw like 7 shadows standing around in his room. 8O When I tried it, I just found myself traveling around my usual haunts. Except that everything had its own twist on it, I guess since I was seeing everything through the lens of my own mind.
My experience seemed long, even though it had been only two hours.

I have experienced that multiple times.
Just last night I had a dream I was hanging with this girl
that i met online (never met in person, kinda crushed on her for a while)
and we were at the park, I clearly Remember her beautiful features
eyes lips and all, most especially her blue sweat shirt,
her sweater kinda made me realized it was a dream in some way.
Thats when i started thinking am I dreaming?
Maybe I should make her my gf right now and that's exactly what happen.
I wanted to be closer so I went for it and it went perfect.
What ever I wanted I thought of it and poof there it was like magic.

I Dream a better life than I live.
(I can remember many more dreams like this)

I can easily go for what i want in life in my dreams,
but in real life it always ends up a disaster, maybe studying my dreams can help me in this situation.

decisions in my dreams and try do live like that in real life
