Lost Opportunity

So, the girl I've worked with for awhile (who I have had a crush on for quite some time) is going on her honeymoon starting this weekend, I just found out. This has really depressed me. She told me she had liked me last December, I didn't jump on it because I didn't know how she meant it. I know she is already divorced once, but this one might be for good (and yeah I hope she is happy or whatever).

I don't even know how to get over this, and with SA opportunities didn't come along for me very often.

I've had a similar experience. I had a crush on this chick a couple years ago, who was one of the coolest, funniest people I had ever met. then she got married. She was 18, and I was 15 when this happened. I was really crushed because I'd known her for years and thought I was in love with her. I don't know your situation other than what you wrote but in my case I wrote a story with a character based on her, so in a way I'd always had a part of her with me. (She and her husband moved away>) And yeah I did get over it a few monthes later. Maybe a lesbian crush isn't really the same thing, but I decided to be grateful she's found someone who loved her.

it's not lost, you just have to change your outlook - stop waiting for shit to come to you, man! speed up the process a bit. get the ball rolling... and THEN let it come to you ;)

I don't know if she meant it that way tho. But, it's too late now, I guess. Wow, this really sucks.

Even worse, is when you do find a girl. You will suddenly get loads of offers from other girls, and you wonder why it never happend while you were single! hahaha
