Loosing ya mind?

When my SVT kicks into overdrive, I get really strong feeling like my brain is going to stop thinking. nothing quite like it. having your mind stick you into a small grey space.

quite scary, but not like I am going crazy, more like imminent death.

Supra-ventricular Tachycardia. it's a caffeine triggered heart condition that causes rapid heart palpitations. external symptoms are similar to a panic attack.

It definitely feels that way, doesn't it? Intense feelings, racing thoughts, lack of control, etc but nothing to worry about of course... we cannot literally go crazy from having anxiety attacks. We just gotta calm down and find a way to overcome it.

Is that true? We cannot literally go crazy?

Without sounding like I have MPD, my inner psychologist is screaming - "don't use the word crazy". Crazy is a horrid term for mental illness, and the modern usage of mad has only mad it harder.

I doubt that you can develop a mental disorder from having a panic/anxiety attack. unless you class a disorder caused by having SA or APD.

My minds loose? EEK! I knew I heard a lot of rattling going on up there! :D

But really, there are times you feel "crazy" or losing it; with so many intense feelings and what not esp with panic attacks but it passes; long as you still know/aware of that it's all good! ::p:
