Klonopin as a PRN?

Hey everyone! I'm a 16 year old girl. I have major depression disorder, social anxiety disorder, and I have struggled with self harm for years. Also, I have a history of drug abuse. A couple days ago, my pdoc prescribed klonopin as a prn. I'm on 1 mg, but I feel that it's not working. Any feedback or advice? Thank you!

I have been on klonopin and all it did for me was calm me down and put me to sleep. But my advice is to speak directly to your doctor. Don't make any changes with any kind of medication without talking to the doctor who prescribed it and listening to her or his instructions.
