I have a Job Interview on Tuesday for an Assistant Manager position at a large Furniture Store. I have been a Assistant Manager before and quite enjoyed it apart from the meetings and staff breifings etc. I suffer with very bad Social Phobia and Hyperhidrosis (Facial Sweating) but i put myself through the pain barriers to do well in my career as i will not let it control that side of my life as i want to provide for my family.
With my Social Anxiety, it comes along with very bad pyhsical symptoms like Sweating and Blushing. I'm so scared that on tuesday in my interview that i will start sweating profusley or blushing. I'm on Lexapro at the moment but only have been taking it for a week though, so the full effects have not hit in yet as my Anxiety is still extremely high. I have Diazepam (Valium) in my cupboard as my doctor prescribed me them for stressful events like this one. If anybody takes a Benzo like Valium, how much mg should i take for it to kick in ?
Most people are scared about the actual interview like answering questions etc but i'm just worried about my Sweating and Blushing. What makes things more worrying is that there are two people taking the interview and one of them i know really well.
Any comments would be a big help .
