Jane Doe

So here's the story:
I was sitting in English class minding my own business (as always) with a couple of friends and a guy comes up to us (we'll call him Tom). Tom chats with one of my friends (I don't normally talk to him unless I have to) about some random thing. He then asks me, 'Hey, how was Becoming Jane (the movie)?' I'm like 'uhhh' *blushes* 'what are you talking about?' All of my friends were pretty much looking at him the same way. Then he's like 'Oh...maybe I'm getting you confused with someone else.' I say 'uh...maybe?' He's like, 'what's your name? *blushes*' I say '(my name).' He says 'Oh, I thought you were Jane! She was going to see that a few days ago.' So now, he's all embarassed and I'm all embarassed and upset. It was a terrible class. I'm always told I look so much like Jane, but have never been totally confused with her! I felt like crap because he had no idea Jane and I were different people! Now I wonder how many people don't even think I exist. They all probably think I'm a girl named Jane and have no idea Jane and I are different people. So, that kind of sucked. Anyone else have this happen?

Another thing I wanted to say, to the girls:
Do you find that louder guys tend to talk to you more than others? Whenever I'm out and about I find that I always get louder guys talking to me. I act like I'm completely uninterested (which I'm not!) but still they keep going on. It's not even the normal boys...the nice ones who talk in a reasonable way. It's the loud ones. Anyone notice this? Why do you think it is?
