Is This OCD? HELP

It probably is and it is killing me.

Its usually related to my work most of the time that I am worried about.

Fears: Termination, Suspension, Written warning etc.....

I initially agreed with someone at work to work Overtime for his hours, but in the notes it clearly stated that i can only work his hours if it would be moved to a later time, they did not agree to that.

Then I called in at work and spoke to them and they told me that it has to be a exact swap. Positive thing is that the supervisor gave me an option to drop the hours completely which is Ok with me.

Now the OCD that is bothering me, I initially called the Operations dept and was kinda upset at myself not at the person i was speaking to. I kept my cool. She did not say anything about my reaction though.

1 hour later i called in and spoke to the same girl and i asked if i yelled at her,,,she said no..i am ok...then she said....she does not take anything seriously if soemone is upset at her in a business or a personal matter..then i asked her if I am ok with...then she said i am fine....conversation ended....i cant get over this...

am i really not in trouble? I would hate to call her back and bug her and annoy her...someone help

Yes

You are doing obsessive thinking....running the same thing over and over in your mind.

If you want to try something to help...try buddhist or hindu meditation.

It has worked for those of us who have a 'BUSY MIND" syndromn.

Take care. Be well.

This could be an early sign of the onset of ocd. Replaying conversations is something that really gets in my way, trying to work out whether or not the person is annoyed with you, or if they secretly don't like you just by the tone of their voice and stuff. In reality of course there's nothing to worry about, but you can't stop obsessing about it! Do you have any other obsessions or compulsions?
