Is SA conquerable?

I can't help but feel that SA will be with me for all of my life. Does anyone have any success stories where anxiety was conquered once and for all, or at least for the vast majority? It just feels like it will never change or won't change enough for me to be where I want to be (professionally or in relationships)

It could be that SA will be with me all my life. But it's not stopping me from doing what I want anymore. Since I started using acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) I've been expanding my horizons and living my life again. In ACT, social anxiety isn't the problem, avoidance is. I've learned to bring the anxiety with me, not to struggle with it.
