Any Iranians here? Whether you're ethnic Persian, Kurdish, Armenian, Mazandaranian, or Irish; does anyone have any roots/connections at all in Iran? Probably not many, but there has to be at least a few. I know Ehsan is. :)

Also, does anyone know Persian/Farsi?

Heech kas injah Farsi miduneh?


By the way, it's almost Norouz.

I love the ancient history of the persian empires, damn those pesky greeks and arabs! ::p: lol

Nope :) There are a lot of different religions in Iran despite Islam being the majority. There are notable Christian & Jewish (largest mid-east population outside Israel) populations in Iran. Converting from Islam to another religion carries the death penalty I believe.

I'm going in a couple of weeks I can't wait :D :D

my boyfriend is from iran.. yes its a beautiful country and so are the people ..im saying this because my bf is from there lol and he has so much pride about being "aryan" ..you know aryans that came from russian (mongolian part of russia of course)

iranians have nice and very dark eyes and hair and naturally darker skin, very beautiful
