Inderal anyone?

So I got prescribed inderal 10mg 3times a day. I'm also on Prozac 30mg. Mostly for SA and anxiety attacks..not depression.

So my doctor was in a rush and he made me a bit nervous about it so I couldn't think straight to ask him if I can take inderal while taking Prozac...maybe there's a bad interaction between the 2? (here goes my anxiety again lol)

Also I did research on inderal and a lot of people who have to do presentations take it 30minutes before making a speech so I'm wondering why I have to take it 3 times a day when I only need it while having an attack???

Inderal is a Beta Blocker and can be used a few different ways. People take it, like you said 30mins before a presentation to prevent anxiety ie heart palpitations, shakes. Or a few times a day so it's always in your system. If you're very concerned how the two drugs interact, you can call poison control or a pharmacy and someone will help you.

I was on it a few years ago (propranolol) and while it did help take away some of the anxiety I felt all the time, it didn't help much with attacks waiting 20/30mins for it to kick in is torture. Now I take ativan when I have an attack, it works faster. Good Luck
