Increasing the effectiveness of iontophoresis?

I started iontophoresis using an Idromed 5 last year. Much to my surprise and happiness it worked. After 6 days my hands and feet were completely dry, and stayed that way with maintenance treatments once or twice a week. It's made an incredible difference in my life

I've since moved from London to Edinburgh with a break of a few months inbetween to do some travelling. Since being in Edinburgh (from the start of January) I've found iontophoresis noticeably less effective. My palms are still dry, but my fingertips are often quite damp.

I'm guessing it's due to differing hardness of water between London and Scotland, but adding baking soda to the water hasn't made any difference for me.

Any tips or advice as to how to get back to 100% dryness again?

If you could get hold of some Glycopyrrolate from your doctor you can put it in the water you use for ionto treatments..my doc is reluctant to pescribe me it atm, I migt go pester him some more as my HH is doing my head in atm lol!!
also, failing that you can get Driclor over the counter at pharmacys now as a roll-on, you can apply it to hands and feet aswel as armpits. I bought some the other day but haven noticed a result as ive only used it for 1 night as yet.
Good luck! hope you find something that relieves it! ;)
