increased anxiety

Does anyone else feel really, really anxious after talking about, reading about or hearing about anxiety? Recently, my anxiety hasn't been that bad and under control, but after I went to the doctor to talk about how things are going, my anxiety was really bad for the rest of the day.

Now that I think about it, the same thing seems to be happening after being on the SPW forum....

Can anyone relate to this?

I can relate to this. I stayed away from the forum for a while because of this very reason. What you put your attention on is what you manifest they say. The forum is great for making you feel you are not alone and for picking up tips and techniques, but you may get to a point in your recovery where too much viewing can drag you down again.

Yes, acknowledging it seems to make the anxiety worse.

Right you are. What you think about you bring about. The mind is a wonderful thing but it is also its own worst enemy. That said, its sounds as if I'm implying that the mind is one to its own who we have no control over, which is not true.

Paahi makes a lot of sense, anything you feed will grow. Be it an animal, knowledge even a skill or, in this case fear.

Thank you Alan! There is a lot of negativity around these places for good reason I might add. Its easy to lose a grip on things when your looking at a forum such as this 24/7 its even at times even harder to feel you will ever get better because you see so many people with problems that never seem to end or get better. These places should be used with caution and constructively.

yeh it seems like the busier I get, the less I'm anxious. I guess it's because I don't have time to think about my anxiety...
