And its making me life hell.

I sweat constantly and profusely from my armpits when i'm at school. I take 2 spare shirts to school and change my shirts at break and at lunch to stop from smelling. I apply deoderant 3 times a day but it simply doesent help. I have had this problem since approximately September 2006.
I do not know what to do. I wear huge black hoodies to school to hide the fact I am sweating so much, but I long to wear lovely shirts etc that I have, but cannot wear.

Its eating me up inside and I do not go out because of it. So far no one has said anything but i know people have noticed.

Is there anything i can do? Im so embarassed, I dont want to go to my GP, but I cant put up with this any longer.

Please help.

I am not overweight, I excercise daily and I eat well.

What can i do?

I'm 15 and I also have hyperhidrosis in the armpits. Sucks doesen't it!?
There is something you can do about it :)
are you in the UK? if so is there a boots or something near you? or a large pharmacy?
there are various different very strong anti perspirants you can buy, that you apply at night, and they block the sweat glands over a period of time to stop you sweating. Some work better for some people than others, so you may need to try different ones.
A few of the most common ones are:
Driclor - usually available from large pharmacy/chemists
Odaban - can be ordered off the internet, probably one of the best, and very cheap for what it is (around £7 if you're in the UK?) > http://www.odaban.com/
(I'm currently trying Odaban and it's working great, barely any sweat, yay! :) )
I'm sure other people will add in more, there are loads :)

If you don't want to use anti-perspirants, you can also buy "sweat proof" t-shirts that wont show up sweat marks (quite expensive I think though) and underarm patches that absorb the sweat so it doesen't get on your clothes.
I know what you are going through, hyperhidrosis can really affect you badly, but at least there are treatments for it.
hope that helps a bit, feel free to PM me if you want to know anything else or just chat about it :)

Thank you so much.
I shall go into Boots tomorrow I hope and see if i can find anything. I would be so happy if I could get this sorted. It's totally ruining everything.

Please tell me how you get on with Obadan. I just ordered some. And will try it when it gets here. Im just praying it'll have some effect for me. Because this is just too much.
I just went back to school today and I had forgotten how bad it gets when I have to wear a shirt and tie etc... it was hard to see all the other girls wearing lovely white school shirts and me in an a baggy old black shirt and hoody. :(

Thanks for your advice.
