If all us social phobes got together for a party

It will be just like it is in the chatbox and irc chat.
Few will talk, more will watch.
At least it could be easier to strike up a conversation if you see them there and can approach them instead of not knowing they're there.

I'll bring the alcoholic drinks though. Maybe that will loosen some of us up.
EDIT: Ahh I see that's already taken care of. Well I'll bring more just in case

Well, at least those who would quietly sit in a corner wouldn't have everybody else wondering what the hell is wrong with them.

That could be interesting. I could just sit in a corner alone, not talking, but not worrying that people are staring at me wondering wtf is up. There would plenty of awkward silences and yet somehow it would feel okay. That's my kind of party.::eek::

Exactly.

I'd like to go to a party like this, I'd rather go to this than a "normal" party. Knowing that everyone are insecure, would make myself more secure. Haha, sounds weird but true. And if I'd be quiet in the corner, all of you would know why and you wouldn't judge me, because you know what it is like. And if I would have a panic attack or whatever, you would understand that too and not just think "what the hell's wrong with her?!" lol. I like the idea. I'd also bring booze though, at least the first time anyway.

Actually, I don't think we would just sit there in the corner. Well, we would, at first, but after a while we would start getting along (because most of us share the same problems/interests).
Also, there would be no judging or pressure to "the guy/girl who just sits in the corner and talks to no one".

However, the first half an hour would seem very (lol) strange to someone from the "outside".

lol I think it would be a pretty normal party....and there would be less pressure knowing that everyone has SA.
