Idromed 4 GS question...

I just bought an idromed 4 gs and have just begun treatment...I have 4 out of the way already. I started out using it at 20mA and last night switched to 11mA because it was making my hands and feet sweat much much more than usual. I am going to keep it at 10 or 11mA for the next few days to see if anything gets better. If anyone has any advice on how to find the perfect settings for you and how to come up with the appropriate amount of time please help me out.

I have dry skin for the most part on my knuckles and backs of my hands which really seems to cause a burning/itching sensation during my treatment. I have tried to apply Vaseline to my knuckles and backs of my hand during treatment because it can be hard to even stay still as the pain is very uncomfortable. Does anyone have any tips or advise for dealing with the pain involved with treatment? Will this go away after a few more treatments? How do others deal with this?

Also I have a problem with but sweat, it can really get out of control at times and I was wondering if anyone has tried or considered using their idromed 4 or any other device to treat this condition? Will it work? I know it seems strange but there has got to be a way to make this work.

One last question, my idromed 4 came with white plastic mesh sheets to put between you and the aluminum plates. Do you need these or can I use the device without them? Are there any problems associated with the skin coming into direct contact with the plates during treatment?

Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help! If anyone lives in the greater Phoenix (Arizona) area and wants to talk let me know.

Also, I have been doing my treatments for 15 min with hands and feet at the same time. I keep my hands in the + and feet in the -, does anyone know how well this works? It really cuts back on the overall time of the treatment but im not sure if im getting same effect as doing one hand in each tub and then doing the feet after.

I don't think you should of started using it at 20mA, that's too high 9-11mA is good for hands (I think most people use it at a higher voltage for feet-18mA-I think it even says in the manual). I use the idromed 4 GS at 10mA and that's fine. I also use it for 15 minutes then change the + and - around and do another 15 minutes once a week. But for initial treatments it only needs to be for 10-15 minutes each day for 10-15 days.

It will take a while for your hands to become used to it-it took me about two weeks of initial treatments, then twice a week now just once a week, this was over about a six month period. Is your dry skin due to something else like exma (sorry I can't spell it properly) if so get that treated first then do the treatments. I use a hand moisturiser as that helps heel any small cuts quickly (I'm always using paper so I get the odd cut now and again). If your doing it at around 10mA it shouldn't be that painful unless there is something very wrong with the machine.

As for butt sweat I'm not sure about using the idromed for that, you could try but you'd have to watch out about zapping ya balls as well. Have you tried something like odaban spray.

Regarding the white mess I think you need them as they act as a gap between the plates and your hands. This gap is needed so the water can pass easier into the hands making the treatment more effective. I hope that's clear. :D
