yes klonopin is a benzo. They are not necessarily dangerous however. It is true that they can be addicting but this is only if you use them everyday which is not something I recommend. I never tried klonopin but I've used Oxazepam and it's a blessing to take one when I'm experiencing severe stress or anxiety. Use with caution and you'll be fine.
