I send out about six CVs with a cover letter a week - I find it's easier to post them, instead of going from place to place, I even got my last job of three-years by posting the CV.

just before you walk into a business for a job, try and think about "anything" that has made you feel happy in the past. try to keep those happy thoughts as you go through the process. or in place of those happy thoughts, think about the accomplishments you've made...if you did that, then you can do this.
