Hypnotherapy

I was wondering if there's anybody on here who knows anything about Hypnotherapy...

If there is, maybe you could provide me with some much needed info, if you'd be so kind.

Can Hypnotherapy make you forget small memories, little things, or atleast put them to the back of you're mind, so you don't remember them anymore, or something similar?

I'm not talking about having major memories from the past erased from my mind, or anything, lol...

But can Hypnotherapy make you forget "small" memories like that?

Hey Soprano :)
I took 6 sessions of Hypnotherapy (called NLP - neuro linguistic programming) back in 2006. It was for these panic attacks that i was experiencing.
A session can last anything from 45mins to an Hour and a half and consists of lying on a bed while soothing music is played to you. Only until you are in a state of deep relaxation (loose limbs, regulated breathing etc) does the therapist go to work.
Hypnotherapy works on a subconscious level and cannot make you do things contrary to your own will (so don't worry, you wont wake up in a clown suit doing the moonwalk, somewhere) ;)
What my therpist did was ask me questions about where these feelings were coming from and only after he knew this did he begin re-programming. I gotta say that after these sessions I felt completely relaxed but when they were over I was given a CD that I had to listen to every morning in bed before I got up (thats the best time). Trouble is I forget to do it sometimes because Id be late for work! So you can guess what happened = the NLP didnt work as well id hoped. Now Ive lost the CD & the therpist has moved so I cant start back! Oh well...
If you do Hypnotherapy its vital you stick to your daily sessions. Let me know how it turns out!

Okk

p.s. as for memories, it depends how deep they are layered. You'd probably need a Psychoanalyst for that.

there is also another, even more easier method (developped by a hypnotherapist) that works with the subconscious mind that you can use yourself without being hypnotized that I recently discovered, it is called the 'zpoint process' and I have already used it for a few days, it certainly does do something but I am planning to use it more to get deeper effect.

Here is part I of the introduction of the zpoint process:

and here two audio's to release stress and tension:

you can pm me for the full self help guide for instant emotional healing with zpoint process.
