Hypnosis:Mythbusting

Hi guys,

I'm preparing to interview Mark Tyrell of Uncommon Knowledge about hypnosis and how it can be used to treat SA for my site "EndingSocialAnxiety.com"

Let me know if there is a question you would like me to fire at him on your behalf. Here's some of the ones I've had already from people:-

1) How do I overcome my own resistance to being hypnotized?
2) How long does it take before I will see results?
3) Do I need to believe in hypnosis for it to work?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks guys

Chris

1) you can reduce that resistance by completely following according to therapist's instructions & don't do any conscious effort while following through the session.

2) you'll notice the results immediately but because of old habits results goes off gradually ,sessions needs to done repeatedly to reinforce the new habbit pattern.

3) actually hypnosis is a very relaxed state of mind which everyone experience day to day ex : we may become unaware of surroundings when we think something else or watching movie, listening to music etc so hypnosis is a realistic state which can be experienced by all.

Good luck!

Hypnosis is something I've spent some time looking into, and I'm now beginning to think theres a high probability that its all fake.
Its probably just a placebo which may work for some people to give up bad habits but not a real phenomenon.
I think those people who do stupid things like pretending to be a chicken just choose to act like a fool.

self hypnosis i find is GREAT when lying down in the dark, with nothing to disturb me.

i would like to know though, how it works in real situations, cause like you cant play the tapes at work, i got sacked for sleeping at work once
