Has anyone tried hypnosis ? Tell sth about results. For me its the last hope cause I dont have time for damn long (group) treatment which I think is ineffective and as about drugs a person who is an authority to me in medical`s case said it has awful affect on organism (brain especially) which appears after few years of using.

What do you think ? and share your experience with hypnosis primarily.

I tried hypnotherapy about 3 years ago, it was my first attempt at trying to do something to start overcoming SA.

It didn't work, simple as that. Why? Because I didn't understand back then why I was suffering the way I did - i.e. anxiety and lacking confidence.

I had about 7 sessions and it was a waste of time.

But, one amazing thing came out of it. My hypnotherapist told me I was not ill and I suffer this lack of confidence and anxiety for a reason and opened my mind up to trying to understand how I felt and trying to overcome SA.

3 years on I am at a stage where I am within touching distance of overcoming SA. And no I was not ill whatsoever and neither are you. Sorry if you don't like to hear that, but there is nothing wrong with you, you are anxious as its a way to protect yourself from getting hurt by negative comments, insults, ridicule, being laughed at, etc.
I will overcome my SA in 2007 I am 100000000000% certain of it.

The answers to SA come from working on this yourself. If I can do it, then anyone can!

I have never tried hypnosis myself, but based on all those cases that went so terribly wrong, i would not even think about it. But that's me...

Keep in mind that the hypnotists do their best to keep the public from hearing about the possible side effects as they will protect their business. So please do not trust them if they say it is without risk. I will advise you to at least perform a search and become aware of the possible side effects before you make your choice.
