How much would psychiatric help cost here?

I have absolutely no idea about price, I assume top end is very excessive though, and even lower end isn't cheap. Just a general price range would be nice, how much did it cost you? That would be handy also

Thanks.

I don't know, but do some research and find out. Ask your doctor, he or she may know.
If you only need help with social anxiety, self help books are useful. Although, make sure you select books that are from a genuine source and the author is a professional.

I pay about $170 per session for my psychiatrist and I get back $102.20 from Medicare so it's about $67. The first visit often costs a bit more though.
You will need to get a referral from a GP to see a Psychiatrist.

Back when I was 9 years old, on my first visit she used to charge $75 for an hour session, then about 5 years ago, when I went to one, it was about $150, and claimed back about $90 of that, its free now for me I think, since I signed my life away :p

I pay around $300, and then receive $150 back from Medicare. So I'm out of pocket around $50. The Medicare rebate only applies though, if you have been referred by a GP.
