Worrying about how people percieve me, particularly those that are unimportant to me, is a major problem with my anxiety. I often worried about what a complete stranger might have said.
A therapist told me to draw a hand, and list all the people that were inside the hand, the people you trust, the people that support you. Anyone outside the hand is not worth worrying about.
I think there are people who percieve me positively, and I try to tune into that more and more rather than listen to those that are critical.
