How do you know if you are...

First of hi everyone, I'm new to these forums

Well, I was wondering, aside from others telling you, is there a way to ascertain if you are generally attractive? I'm a guy, and they say guys shoudn't worry about their looks, but that's bull**** if you ask me. I mean I've been told I am, but I just don't believe it. Sorry if this is a weird question, but it's been on my mind. Thanks in advance for any replies.

EDIT: I should have mentioned this contributes to my social anxiety.

You notice whether people look at you, smile at you, compliment you, etc.
And you post a picture and see what people here say.
