Hey Youngsters , i m a bit older (and i have to know everything  ) , so i feel that i lived even when this sp-thing wasnt even invented.

I know that i was shy and even there was nothing formally non-acceptable in being shy - i remember that i still was denying that fact , when i saw how unpopular it was.

So, how did you came to that conclusion ; i mean "social" and "phobia", as i see some people here are in young teen age..

I don't fully understand what you're asking, but i'll have a go...

I'm 16, and self-diagnosed with social phobia.
I knew that something wasn't right. I just suddenly had changed from an outgoing, confident child into a terrified, confused teenager. However, I knew this was more than just shyness, so I did a lot of research into it and SP kept coming up.
I read the symptoms style things and it matched up with me.

actually I wanted to look for 'social disorder'.. or 'sociopath' thinking that may fit more but sociopath is labelled to people who are even way crazier. I'm more like developmentally disordered, personality disorder. I dont know it's just... disorder. Disorganization that has caused me to be like dis-organized, and dysfunctional.

actually i always joked about it, telling people that i don't go out because i'm "anti-social" sociophobic and things like this...

i never tought of a disorder called "social phobia"... it was only these days that i was seeking help and a guy toldme about social anxiety disorder...

then i typed Social Anxiety at google and found out "social phobia" and social phobia world =) , then my jokes turned out to be the real issue...
