On the plus side, I called in sick to work today and I don't have to deal with training the new guy. On the minus side, something is wrong with my eye and I have to deal with going to the doctor.

Noooo! I wasn't referring to anybody on the forum! I'm not that mean haha. Sorry to have worried you!

I was just referring to somebody on my FB newsfeed who always puts statuses about how life is unfair etc etc, and has no money etc etc, but will then put up a photo a few weeks later of all these monetary notes she's saved up, and another status later on to say how she has bought some really expensive dress or something. It's like just shut up narrating everything you do. And sometimes its really covert stuff, like the status will be ":'(" and somebody will say, "what's wrong?" and it'll be like "nothing."

I doubt you're an attention seeker, you don't come across as one on the forum We all 'seek attention' on the forum insofar as we all make advantage of the fact that there are other like-minded people here and we would value their opinion on a personal issue. I've done it more than enough, it's what the forum is for afterall But it doesn't make us attention-seekers. Attention seekers are only visible in real life (or on FB )

I'm sure it's them that's shallow since it's the picture that they see and decide if they wanna look at it. Only way i got views on my profile is when i changed my picture to a bunny rabbit with a pancake on its head. I go on plenty of fish.

i can see where you coming from but theres to sides to dating sites, you are looking at it from a mans point of view, when you should be looking at it from the womens.. women are more vunrable so there more cautious about replying if you ask one they will tell you theres a lot of weirdos on those sites that constantly haress them. maybe your approach was all wrong.

i can see where your coming from but theres two sides to dating sites and your seeing it from a mans point of view, when you need to look at it from a womens point of view... women are more vunrable so are more cautious about replying, ive asked a few women about this who have told me that theres a lot of weirdos on them sites that constantly haress them, sending msgs constantly in a desprate attempt to talk to them.
also if you send out emails saying things like hi how are you ? then they just dont bother to reply as everyone says that, you have to be original and do things like putting a bunny rabbit on with a pancake on his head. you say they viewed you but did they msg you, maybe your profile was the same as every elses too ?

I experimented with POF, and i have to say i got a ton of views, some from hot girls, some from not so hot ones. The only messages i got sent though were from big girls(i don't mind big girls but these ones were taking the piss) and single mothers. What i would say is that views don't mean they fancy you, they mean nothing really.

Frankly i don't what approach works best on these sites, i got bored very quickly and just started messing around, i didn't have serious intentions of meeting anyone. I tracked down the best looking girl i could find and asked her if i could dress her up like a star trek character and throw peanut butter at her, why i did that i don't know. From what i've heard just straight up asking for a **** is the most successful approach, although i still wouldn't recommend it.
