Good morning.
I am a new here. It looks like very good. It's great to know other have also the S.A. It makes me life difficult and different from other life. I'm young and in school, and it's difficult to go.
I read many - or some - of you write about being homeschooling. It's a surprise for me - I didn't know that you can homeschool due to the S.A., I thought it was reserved for very ill physically people or disabled... I read a bit about homeschooling and the opinions also, and I think it's both advantages and disadvantages, what do you think?
+advantages:
it may be anxiety lessening;
avoiding the big source of it and minimising the school stress (especialy about oral replies at the blackboard...);
liquidating the schoolbreaks stress (what does a S.A.-er have to do during them? unless loiter among the corridor or rather, due to S.A., sit somewhere shrinked and anxious... , but not talking normally to other students! );
or the school library could be somewhat helpful then.... it's so hard...
-disadvantages:
it's but an serious isolation from the normal school life which can have not good psychological effects I think;
you may lose even those vestigial contacts with your colleagues/peers which is but necessary and required to make normal social skills needed in the adult life!;
the life becomes more boring too;
you spend more time at home which's healthy and mentally not good;
and you but also have much less motivation to learn alone - what about the learning effects and marks?;
And how to return later to the school?! You but probably don't want to keep homeschooling until the end of your school education, do you?!
And how to pass normal exams - where do it, not but at home?... :?:
And one more great disadvantage - what the other, peers, colleagues and other people in your area will think about you!? when they find out you homeschool for no visible reason! Have you ever thought about his aspect of the homeschooling?
But I think it's an ultimate solution for very anxious S.A.-ers. What but their normal schooleducation be like in such big stress?...
Get discuss and exchange our considerations!
good bye, see you!
