I'm also new to this board. I've struggled with social anxiety virtually all my life (I'm 35), although it's only in recent years that I realized that there was a name for it.

It's funny. I feel a certain amount of anxiety just posting here , even though I know it's totally irrational. But I see some others feel the same way as they start out.
