I just recently joined this forum. I'm 32. I just found out about avoidant personality disorder and think that I probably suffer from it. I avoid others because I fear being negatively evaluated by them. I am oversensitive to criticism from others and it's very hard for me to let it go and forget about it. I still remember hurtful things that people have said to me years ago just like it were yesterday. I hope that posting here and reading other posts can be helpful to me.
